Sanatsujāta on Vedic Learning, Truth (Satya), and the Discipline of Dama–Tyāga–Apramāda

समा गुरौ यथा वृत्तिर्गुरुपत्न्यां तथा55चरेत्‌ । तत्युत्रे च तथा कुर्वन्‌ द्वितीय: पाद उच्यते

samā gurau yathā vṛttir guru-patnyāṃ tathā caret | tat-putre ca tathā kurvan dvitīyaḥ pāda ucyate ||

ينبغي أن يكون السلوك مع زوجة المعلّم على مثال السلوك مع المعلّم نفسه. وكذلك يُفعل مع ابن المعلّم؛ فذلك يُعلَن أنه “القدم” (pāda) الثانية من حسن السيرة. ويؤكد التعليمُ التوقيرَ المنضبطَ وضبطَ النفس الأخلاقي داخل بيت الغورو بوصفه أساس الدارما.
