“गुरोरप्यवलिप्तस्य कार्याकार्यमजानतः । उत्पथप्रतिपन्नस्य परित्यागो विधीयते”

Transliteration

guror apy avaliptasya kāryākāryam ajānataḥ | utpatha-pratipannasya parityāgo vidhīyate ||

Translation

قال راما: «حتى المعلّم، إذا انتفخ كبرياءً فلم يعد يميّز بين ما ينبغي فعله وما لا ينبغي، وسلك طريقًا منحرفًا (أدهرما)، فواجبٌ أن يُنبذ ويُترك». والمغزى الأخلاقي أن توقير الغورو قائم على الدارما؛ فإذا صارت الهداية نفسها أدهرما بسبب الغرور واضطراب البصيرة الخُلُقية، وجب سحب الولاء بدلًا من اتباع الخطأ.
