शल्य उवाच
The verse highlights orderly governance: authority over specific domains (here, wealth and the Yakṣas) is assigned after deliberation, suggesting that power should be distributed thoughtfully to uphold stability and proper functioning.
Śalya narrates that Indra, after considering the matter, formally appoints Kubera as the overlord of the Yakṣas and as the presiding master of wealth, establishing Kubera’s recognized cosmic role.
