परिहृत्य श्मशानानि देवतायतनानि च । आश्रमांश्व महर्षीणां तीर्थान्यायतनानि च

Transliteration

parihṛtya śmaśānāni devatāyatanāni ca | āśramāṁś ca maharṣīṇāṁ tīrthāny āyatanāni ca ||

Translation

قال فايشَمبايانا: متجنّبًا محارق الجثث، ومعابد الآلهة، ومساكن النُّسّاك من كبار الرِّشي، ومخاضات الأنهار المقدّسة (تيرثا) والحُرُم الطاهرة، ساق يودهيشثيرا ابن كونتي—وهو الحكيم ذو الرأي—جنده بعيدًا جدًّا، ثم أنزلهم في موضع بهيج نظيف طاهر، لئلا تُقلق إقامةُ الجيش المواضعَ المكرّسة أو تمسّ ما لها من حرمةٍ وتوقير.
