yayātinam rājaṛṣim nāhuṣaḥ satyavikramaḥ | sa dāsyati mayā cokto bhavatā cārthitaḥ svayam ||
The verse highlights the ethical ideal of a ruler who is both truthful and steadfast in valor, and it underscores responsible mediation: a request is properly conveyed and honored through clear communication and personal accountability.
Nārada reports that he has informed King Nāhuṣa about the matter, and that the addressee has also personally requested it; Nāhuṣa, described as satyavikrama, will grant (hand over) the royal sage Yayāti.
