गोमत्यास्त्वेष पुलिने त्वददर्शनसमुत्सुक: । आसीनो वर्तयन ब्रह्म ब्राह्मण: संशितव्रत:
gomatyāstv eṣa puline tvad-adarśana-samutsukaḥ | āsīno vartayan brahma brāhmaṇaḥ saṃśita-vrataḥ ||
قال بهيشما: «على الضفة الرملية لنهر غوماتي يجلس براهمنٌ شديدُ العهد، راسخُ النذر. وهو يتلو معارف الفيدا المقدسة، مقيمٌ هناك متشوقًا إلى رؤيتك.»
भीष्म उवाच
