अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः
Sūrya–Nāga Dialogue on the Perfected Gleaner-Ascetic
रूपाण्यनेकान्यसृजत् प्रादुर्भावे भवाय स: । वाराहं नारसिंहं च वामनं मानुषं तथा
rūpāṇy anekāny asṛjat prādurbhāve bhavāya saḥ | vārāhaṃ nārasiṃhaṃ ca vāmanaṃ mānuṣaṃ tathā ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: من أجل صلاح العالم، عند زمن التجلّي، اتخذ هو صورًا شتّى—كهيئة الخنزير البري، وهيئة الإنسان-الأسد، وهيئة القزم، وكذلك الهيئة البشرية—تظهر كلٌّ منها عند الحاجة لإقامة النظام وحماية الكائنات.
