धर्मद्वारबहुत्वविमर्शः — Reflection on the Many ‘Doors’ of Dharma (Śānti-parva 342)
कथ्यमानं मया तात त्वं हि मे<र्थ स्मृत: पुरा । नमो5तियशसे तस्मै देहिनां परमात्मने
kathyamānaṃ mayā tāta tvaṃ hi me 'rthaḥ smṛtaḥ purā | namo 'tiyaśase tasmai dehināṃ paramātmane ||
قال أرجونا: «وأنا أتكلّم، يا من هو لي كالأب الحنون، لا يحضر في ذهني إلا أنت بوصفك المعنى الحقّ الذي تذكّرته من قبل. سلامٌ وخضوعٌ لذاك المتناهي في المجد، للذات العظمى (الباراماتمان) لجميع ذوي الأجساد.»
अर्जुन उवाच
The verse frames true understanding as remembrance of the Supreme Self (paramātman) present as the inner reality of all embodied beings, and it expresses humility and devotion through salutation to that highest principle.
Arjuna, in a reflective and reverential tone, addresses an elder respectfully and states that while speaking he recalls the essential truth known earlier, then offers homage to the Supreme Self of all living beings.
