सुवर्णष्ठीविनोपाख्यानम्
The Account of Suvarṇaṣṭhīvin
राजकुमारकी हत्या करके देवराज इन्द्रका भेजा हुआ वह वज्ररूपी बाघ मायासे वहीं अदृश्य हो गया ।।
rājakumārakī hatyā kṛtvā devarāja-indrasya preṣitaḥ sa vajrarūpī vyāghro māyayā tatraiva adṛśyo 'bhavat || dhātryāstu ninadaṃ śrutvā rudatyāḥ paramārtavat | abhyadhāvat taṃ deśaṃ svayam eva mahīpatiḥ sūñjayaḥ ||
وبعد أن قتل الأمير الغلام، ذلك النمر الذي يشبه سلاح الفَجْرَة (vajra) والمبعوث من إندرا سيد الآلهة، توارى في الموضع نفسه بمايا. ولمّا سمع الملك سونجايا صرخة المرضعة الباكية، وهي نحيبٌ ممزّق، أسرع بنفسه إلى ذلك المكان.
