यथा शुक्लस्य पक्षस्य प्रवृत्तो चन्द्रमा: शनै: । उन महामनस्वी नारदके हृदयमें काम उसी प्रकार धीरे-धीरे बढ़ने लगा, जैसे शुक्लपक्ष आरम्भ होनेपर शनै:-शनै: चन्द्रमाकी वृद्धि होती है
yathā śuklasya pakṣasya pravṛtto candramāḥ śanaiḥ |
وكما أن القمر، إذا ابتدأت الليالي البيض، يزداد شيئًا فشيئًا، كذلك أخذت الرغبة تنمو رويدًا رويدًا في قلب نارادا العظيم النفس—في هدوء، خطوةً بعد خطوة، وتشتد مع مرور الزمن.
