धनुरादाय बाणेन तदान्वसरत प्रभु: । यज्ञको मृगका रूप धारण करके भागते देख भगवान् शिवने धनुष हाथमें लेकर अपने बाणके द्वारा उसका पीछा किया
dhanur ādāya bāṇena tadānv asarat prabhuḥ |
قال بهيشما: «ثم إن الربَّ تناول قوسه، وبسهمٍ طارده. ولمّا رأى الكائنَ القرباني—وقد اتّخذ هيئةَ غزال—يفرّ، تبعه الإله شِيفا، والقوس في يده، مُطلقًا سلاحه. وتُبرز هذه الحادثة أنّ الخداعَ وإفسادَ الدَّرما، ولو في سياقٍ مقدّس، يستجلبان كبحًا سريعًا بسلطانٍ إلهي.»
