Educational Q&A

When harm arises from all sides, dharma may require protecting life and withdrawing from destructive conflict; ritual or social claims should not become a pretext for violence.

Under attack from every direction, the sacrificial deer assumes its deer-form and escapes upward into the sky, as Bhīṣma narrates this episode to the king.
