अध्याय २८१ — दानधर्मः, न्यायागतधनम्, ऋणत्रय-परिशोधनं च
Dāna ethics, lawful wealth, and settling obligations
सर्वावस्थं॑ त्वमप्येषां द्विजातीनां प्रियं कुरु । इमे हि भूतले देवा: प्रथिता: कुरुनन्दन
sarvāvasthaṁ tvam apy eṣāṁ dvijātīnāṁ priyaṁ kuru | ime hi bhūtale devāḥ prathitāḥ kurunandana ||
قال بهيشما: «في كل حال، عليك أنت أيضًا أن تفعل ما يرضي هؤلاء ذوي الولادتين وينفعهم، يا بهجة آل كورو. فإنهم مشهورون على وجه الأرض كأنهم آلهةٌ حقًّا.»
