धन-यज्ञ-दानविवेकः
Wealth, Sacrifice, and Disciplined Giving
यज्ञाय सृष्टानि धनानि धात्रा यज्ञोद्दिष्ट: पुरुषो रक्षिता च । तस्मात् सर्व यज्ञ एवोपयोज्यं धनं ततो5नन्तर एव काम:
yajñāya sṛṣṭāni dhanāni dhātrā yajñoddiṣṭaḥ puruṣo rakṣitā ca | tasmāt sarvaṁ yajña evopayojyaṁ dhanaṁ tato 'nantara eva kāmaḥ ||
قال ديفَسْتانا: «إنّ الخالق أوجد الثروة من أجل اليَجْنَة (yajña)، القربان والذبيحة الطقسية، ومن أجل اليَجْنَة نفسها أوجد الرجل الذي يحفظها. فلذلك ينبغي أن تُسخَّر الثروة كلّها في اليَجْنَة؛ ثم لا يلبث أن تتحقق مقاصد المُضَحّي ورغباته بفضل ذلك الطقس عينه.»
देवस्थान उवाच
Wealth is presented as divinely purposed for yajña (sacrificial giving and ritual obligation). Using resources in yajña sustains dharma and, as a consequence, brings legitimate fulfillment of desires to the sacrificer.
A speaker named Devastāna states a doctrinal rationale: the Creator made wealth and the human protector/agent with yajña as their aim. From this premise he concludes that wealth should be directed into yajña, which then yields the sacrificer’s desired results.
