Adhyāya 199: Karma–Jñāna Causality and the Nirguṇa Brahman
Manu’s Instruction
इत्युक्तः स तदा देव्या विप्र: प्रोवाच धर्मवित् जप्यं॑ प्रति ममेच्छेयं वर्धत्विति पुन: पुन:
ity uktaḥ sa tadā devyā vipraḥ provāca dharmavit | japyaṃ prati mamēccheyaṃ vardhatv iti punaḥ punaḥ ||
فلما خاطبته الإلهةُ آنذاك، أجابَ البراهمنُ العارفُ بالدارما: «أما فيما يخصّ التعويذة المقدّسة التي تُتلى بالجَپا، فهذه رغبتي: لتزدَدْ على الدوام»، وكرّر ذلك مرارًا.
