On Gratitude and Friendship Ethics
दानवेन्द्रास्त्वतिक्रम्य तत् पितामहशासनम् । धर्मस्यापचयं चक्कुः: क्रोधलो भसमन्विता:,परंतु दानवेश्वरोंने क्रोध और लोभसे युक्त हो ब्रह्माजीकी उस आज्ञाका उल्लंघन करके धर्मको हानि पहुँचाना आरम्भ किया
dānavendrās tv atikramya tat pitāmahaśāsanam | dharmasyāpacayaṃ cakruḥ krodhalobhasamanvitāḥ ||
قال بهيشما: «غير أن سادة الدانَڤا، وقد ساقهم الغضب والطمع، تعدّوا أمر الجدّ الأكبر (براهما) ذاك، وشرعوا يُحدثون انحطاط الدارما.»
