भीष्म उवाच
This line is a colophon marking the close of the chapter; it frames the surrounding discourse as instruction on rājadharma (the ethical and practical duties of a ruler) within the Śānti Parva.
The text signals the end of Adhyāya 108 in the Śānti Parva, within the Rājadharmānuśāsana section, noting the metrical form (Gaṇa-vṛtta).
