यदृच्छया निपतितं चक्रमादित्यगोचरम्‌ । महावातसमुत्थेन संशुष्कमिव सागरम्‌

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

yadṛcchayā nipatitaṃ cakram ādityagocaram |

mahāvātasamutthena saṃśuṣkam iva sāgaram |

Translation

قال سانجيا: «كأن قرص الشمس سقط مصادفةً عن مداره، وكأن المحيط جفّته ريحٌ عاتية—هكذا بدا دوريودhana في تلك اللحظة: انكسر بهاؤه وثقته المتعجرفة، وصارت قوته عبثًا أمام القضاء وعواقب الحرب.»
