राजन! तदनन्तर दो घड़ी सुस्ताकर प्रतापी भीमसेनने निकट आये हुए दुर्योधनपर बड़े वेगसे आक्रमण किया ।।

Transliteration

tam āpatatantaṁ samprekṣya saṁrabdham amitaujasam | mogham asya prahāraṁ taṁ cikīrṣur bharatarṣabha ||

Translation

فلما رأى بهيما—ذا القوة التي لا تُقاس—يُغير عليه بغضبٍ متأجّج، عزم دوريودhana، يا ثورَ آلِ بهاراتا، أن يجعل تلك الضربة القادمة هباءً. وفي لُجّة القتال سعى إلى إبطال الضربة قبل أن تقع، مُلاقِيًا القوةَ بدفاعٍ محسوب.
