Indratīrtha–Ādityatīrtha: Balarāma’s Ritual Bathing, Dāna, and Sacred-Historical Recollections

पज्च चैतानि सुभगे बदराणि शुभव्रते । पचेत्युक्त्वा तु भगवाञज्जगाम बलसूदन:,“सुभगे! शुभव्रते! ये पाँच बेरके फल हैं। तुम इन्हें पका दो।” ऐसा कहकर भगवान्‌ इन्द्र कल्याणी श्रुतावतीसे पूछकर उस आश्रमसे थोड़ी ही दूरपर स्थित उत्तम तीर्थमें गये और वहाँ स्नान करके जप करने लगे

pañca caitāni subhage badarāṇi śubhavrate | pacety uktvā tu bhagavān jagāma balasūdanaḥ ||

قال فَيْشَمْبَايَنَا: «يا ذات الحظ، يا صاحبة النذر الشريف—ها هي خمسُ ثمراتِ السِّدر (البَدَر)؛ فاطبخيها.» ثم لما قال ذلك، انصرف الربُّ المبارك، قاتلُ بالا. ومضى إلى مَعبرٍ مقدّسٍ فاضلٍ غير بعيدٍ عن ذلك الأشرم، فاغتسل هناك، وأقبل على الجَپَة (ترديد الذِّكر) والتأمّل—متحلّيًا بالضبط والوقار، وإن كانت الحوادث العظام تضطرب من حوله.
