Duryodhana’s Arrow-Storm and the Dust-Obscured Engagements
दुर्योधनस्तु सम्प्रेक्ष्य भग्नं स्वबलमन्तिकात्
duryodhanas tu samprekṣya bhagnaṃ svabalam antikāt
قال سنجيا: ولمّا رأى عن قربٍ أنّ جيشه قد تكسّر وتبدّد، واجه دوريودھانا الحقيقة القاتمة لانعطاف المعركة—حيث يلتقي الكبرياء والطموح بعواقب الأدهرما وسوء الحكم.
संजय उवाच
Power and pride that ignore dharma eventually face visible consequences; a ruler must read reality clearly and accept responsibility for the outcomes of unjust choices.
Sañjaya reports that Duryodhana, observing at close range, sees his own forces broken—marking a decisive deterioration of the Kaurava position in the war.
