Adhyāya 21 — Duryodhanasya bāṇavarṣaḥ
Duryodhana’s Arrow-Storm and the Dust-Obscured Engagements
चापवेगबलोद्धूतान् मार्गणान् वृष्णिसिंहयो: । आकाशे समपश्याम पतजड्भानिव शीघ्रगान्,वृष्णिवंशके उन दोनों सिंहोंके धनुषके वेग और बलसे चलाये हुए शीघ्रगामी बाणोंको हम आकाशगमें छाये हुए टिड्डीदलोंके समान देखते थे
cāpavegabaloddhūtān mārgaṇān vṛṣṇisiṃhayoḥ | ākāśe samapaśyāma pataṅgān iva śīghragān ||
قال سنجيا: «لقد رأينا في السماء سهامًا سريعة، اندفعت بقوة القوس وسرعته من هذين البطلين الشبيهين بالأسدين من سلالة الفِرِشْني، كأنها أسراب جرادٍ تنتشر في الفضاء.»
