Adhyāya 14: Śalya’s Missile-Pressure and the Pāṇḍava Convergence (शल्यस्य शरवर्षम्)

ततो<परैस्त्रिभिर्भल्लैद्रौणिं विव्याध पाण्डव: । सो5तिविद्धो बलवता पार्थेन सुमहात्मना

tato 'parais tribhir bhallair drauṇiṁ vivyādha pāṇḍavaḥ | so 'tividdho balavatā pārthena sumahātmanā ||

قال سانجيا: ثم إنَّ محارب الباندافا أصاب ابن درونا (أشڤاتثامان) بثلاثة سهامٍ حادّةٍ أخرى. وقد نُفِذ فيه الطعن عميقًا بسهم بارثا الجبّار، ومع ذلك مضى ذلك الرامي العظيم النفس يدفع القتال قُدُمًا وسط مطالب الحرب القاسية—حيث تحسم البأسُ والعزيمةُ لحظةَ الفصل، بينما يبقى الدَّرما المعيارَ الأسمى لسلوك المحارب.
