दुर्योधनस्य बलिवर्णनम् — Duryodhana’s Description of Tribute at the Rājasūya
पाण्डवश्रीप्रतप्तस्य ध्यायमानस्य गच्छत: । दुर्योधनस्थ नृपते: पापा मतिरजायत,पाण्डवोंकी राजलक्ष्मीसे संतप्त हो उसीका चिन्तन करते हुए जानेवाले राजा दुर्योधनके मनमें पापपूर्ण विचारका उदय हुआ
pāṇḍavaśrīprataptasya dhyāyamānasya gacchataḥ | duryodhanasya nṛpateḥ pāpā matir ajāyata ||
قال فَيْشَمْبَايَنَة: مضى الملك دُريودَهَنَة في طريقه، وقد أحرقتْه في باطنه بهاءُ المُلك لدى الباندَفَة، وظلّ يُمعن التفكير فيها. فنهض في قلبه عزمٌ آثم—إذ نضج الحسدُ إلى نيةٍ مناقضة للدارما، ستدفعه إلى مزيدٍ من الآثام والاعتداءات.
