ततो गते भगवति कृष्णे देवकिनन्दने । जयं लब्ध्वा सुविपुल राज्ञां दत्त्वाभयं तदा,भारत! महान् विजयको प्राप्त करके और जरासंधके द्वारा कैद किये हुए उन राजाओंको अभयदान देकर देवकीनन्दन भगवान् श्रीकृष्णके चले जानेपर उक्त कर्मके द्वारा पाण्डवोंके यशका बहुत विस्तार हुआ और वे पाण्डव द्रौपदीकी भी प्रीतिको बढ़ाने लगे
tato gate bhagavati kṛṣṇe devakīnandane | jayaṃ labdhvā suvipulaṃ rājñāṃ dattvābhayaṃ tadā, bhārata |
قال فايشَمبايانا: لما انصرف الربّ المبارك كṛṣṇa، بهجةُ ديفكي، كان الباندافا قد نالوا نصرًا عظيمًا، ومنحوا «أبهايا» (الأمانَ من الخوف، وسلامةَ المرور) للملوك الكثيرين الذين كان جاراسندها قد أسرهم؛ فبذلك الفعل اتسعت شهرتهم اتساعًا كبيرًا، وزادوا كذلك محبةَ دروبدي وفرحَها.
