Vasudeva–Arjuna Dialogue in the Aftermath of Dvārakā
नियति तु जने तस्मिन् सागरो मकरालय: । द्वारकां रत्नसम्पूर्णा जलेनाप्लावयत् तदा,उस जनसमुदायके निकलते ही मगरों और घड़ियालोंके निवासस्थान समुद्रने रत्नोंसे भरी-पूरी द्वारका नगरीको जलसे डुबो दिया
niyati tu jane tasmin sāgaro makarālayaḥ | dvārakāṃ ratnasampūrṇāṃ jalena aplāvayat tadā ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: ما إن انصرف ذلك الجمع—مدفوعًا بالنييَتي (القَدَر المحتوم)—حتى فاض البحر، مأوى المكارا، فأغرق دُوارَكا، المدينة المملوءة بالجواهر، وطمسها بمياهه. وتؤكد الآية قوة القدر التي لا تُقاوَم، إذ تُفضي حتى أبهى منجزات البشر إلى الفناء والانحلال.
