न चाभिसर्तव्यमिति प्रचोदिता: परे त्वदीयाश्व॒ तथावतस्थिरे
na cābhisartavyam iti pracoditāḥ pare tvadīyāś ca tathāvat tasthire
قال سانجيا: ومع أنّهم حُثّوا بالأمر: «لا تتقدّموا»، فإنّ رجال الخصم—وكذلك رجالكم—ثبتوا في مواقعهم كما هم، ممسكين بمراكزهم بضبطٍ وانضباط وسط ضغط الحرب.
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya reports that after an instruction not to advance, both the opposing troops and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s forces stayed where they were, maintaining their formation and readiness.
