ततोडन््तरिक्षे साक्षेपा विवादा भरतर्षभ । मिथो भेदाश्न भूतानामासन् कर्णार्जुनान्तरे
tad anantaram antarikṣe sākṣepā vivādā bharatarṣabha | mitho bhedāś ca bhūtānām āsan karṇārjunāntare ||
قال سنجيا: ثم بعد ذلك، يا ثورَ آلِ بهاراتا، نشبت بين جميع الكائنات القائمة في الفضاء الأوسط منازعاتٌ محتدمة، مشحونةٌ بالاتهام واللوم، وتباينت الآراء حول نصر كَرْنَة أو هزيمته أمام أرجونا. حتى المتفرجون انقسموا، مما يكشف مدى جسامة هذا النزال—وما يحمله من ثقلٍ أخلاقي—في نظر العالم.
