नानापताकाकलिलं किड्किणीजालमालिनम्‌

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | nānā-patākā-kalilaṃ kiṅkiṇī-jāla-mālinam | śvetāśvāḥ kha iva vimāna-sadṛśaṃ rathaṃ vahanta iva | paśya karṇasya mahāmanasaḥ dhvajaṃ, yatra hastī-raśanā-cihnaṃ dṛśyate |

Translation

قال سنجيا: «تلك العربة مزدحمة برايات شتّى ترفرف، ومزدانة بشبكة من الأجراس الصغيرة الرنّانة. تجرّها خيول بيضاء فتبدو كأنها تنساب في السماء كعربة سماوية. انظر إلى لواء كارنا، عظيم النفس—وعليه شعار حبل شدّ الفيل—يعلن هويته المحاربة وعزيمته الراسخة وسط الثقل الأخلاقي للحرب.»
