धनंजयशराभ्यस्तै: स्यन्दनाश्वरथद्विपै: । संछिन्नभिन्नविध्वस्तैर्व्यज्राज़ावयवै: स्तृता

dhanañjayaśarābhyastaiḥ syandanāśvarathadvipaiḥ | sañchinnabhinnavidhvastair vyajāḍāva-yavaiḥ stṛtā ||

قال سانجيا: لقد غدت الأرض هناك مغطّاةً ببقايا العربات والخيول والفيلة المحطَّمة—إذ كانت تُصاب مرارًا وتكرارًا بسهام دهنانجيا (أرجونا). قُطِّعت وشُقّت ودُمِّرت تدميرًا تامًّا، فتبعثرت أعضاؤها وأجزاؤها في كل مكان، شاهدةً على اندفاع المعركة الذي لا يلين وعلى الثمن المروّع لبأس الفروسية حين تُسخَّر للحرب.
