एवमुक्तस्तु पार्थेन कृष्णो मतिमतां वरम् । धनंजयमुवाचेदं प्राप्तकालमरिंदमम्,अर्जुनके ऐसा कहनेपर श्रीकृष्णने बुद्धिमानोंमें श्रेष्ठ शत्रुदमन अर्जुनसे यह समयोचित बात कही--
evam uktas tu pārthena kṛṣṇo matimatāṃ varam | dhanañjayam uvācedaṃ prāptakālam ariṃdamam ||
فلما خاطبه بارثا (أرجونا) على هذا النحو، تكلّم كريشنا—أسبق الحكماء—بكلماتٍ في أوانها إلى دهننجايا، قاهر الأعداء.
