वारणानां परिस्तोमांस्तथैवाजिनकम्बलान्
vāraṇānāṁ paristomāṁs tathaivājinakambalān
قال سنجيا: «إن زينةَ الفيلة وأغطيتَها المزخرفة—ومعها جلودُ الأيائل والأكسية—تمزّقت شرَّ تمزيق وسقطت. وكانت الأغطيةُ المطرّزة بخيوطٍ من فضّة، ومهازيزُ الفيلة، وأجراسٌ كثيرةٌ تكسّرت إلى قطعٍ متناثرة، مبسوطةً على الأرض مع الفيلة العظام السادة، شاهدةً على الخراب والهدر الذي تخلّفه الحرب في أعقابها.»
