कृष्णोपदेशः, अर्जुनस्य क्षमा-याचनम्, कर्णवध-अनुज्ञा
Krishna’s Counsel, Arjuna’s Apology, and Authorization for Karṇa’s Slaying
ते तु राज्ञा समादिष्टा भीमसेनं जिघांसव: । अभ्यवर्तन्त संक्रुद्धा: पतज्रा: पावकं यथा
te tu rājñā samādiṣṭā bhīmasenaṃ jighāṃsavaḥ | abhyavartanta saṃkruddhāḥ pataṅgāḥ pāvakaṃ yathā ||
قال سنجيا: غير أن أولئك المحاربين، وقد أُمروا من الملك وعزموا على قتل بهيماسينا، اندفعوا غاضبين اندفاعًا—كالفراش يقتحم النار المتأججة. وتُبرز الآية كيف يمكن للطاعة العمياء والسخط أن يدفعا الرجال إلى عنفٍ مُهلكٍ للذات في ساحة القتال.
