The verse highlights how extraordinary power (tejas) evokes reverence even among the gods, and it underscores the ethic of proper, respectful communication (nivedana) toward a superior being—power is to be approached with humility and order.
Duryodhana narrates that the gods, amazed at a chariot whose construction seemed to concentrate the radiance of the whole world, approach the great-souled Mahādeva and formally report that the chariot has been prepared.
