कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
एवमुक्तः प्रत्युवाच तरयम्बकं वरदं प्रभुम् उनके ऐसा कहनेपर परशुरामने वरदायक भगवान् त्रिलोचनको इस प्रकार उत्तर दिया
evam uktaḥ pratyuvāca tryambakaṃ varadaṃ prabhum
فلما خوطِبَ على هذا النحو، أجابَ باراشوراما بدوره تريامباكا—الربَّ ذا العيون الثلاث، وواهبَ النِّعَم. ويؤطِّر هذا المقطع لحظةَ خطابٍ مفعمةٍ بالتوقير: فالقويُّ لا يردُّ بكِبْر، بل يتوجَّه إلى المصدر الإلهي للسلطان والنعمة، مُشيرًا إلى أن الفعل الحاسم والعاقبة الأخلاقية إنما يرتكزان في النهاية على مشيئة الربّ وعلى أخلاق العطايا والعهود.
