धृतराष्ट्रस्य मूर्च्छा स्त्रीणां च आर्तनादः
Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Collapse and the Lament of the Palace Women
तदिदं निहते द्रोणे विषण्णमिव लक्ष्यते । युध्यमानाश्व समरे योधा वध्यन्ति सर्वश:
tad idaṁ nihate droṇe viṣaṇṇam iva lakṣyate | yudhyamānāś ca samare yodhā vadhyante sarvaśaḥ ||
قال سنجيا: «الآن وقد قُتل درونا، يبدو هذا الجيش كلّه كأنه غارق في الكآبة. ففي ساحة القتال يُصرَع المحاربون المنخرطون في القتال من كل جانب. وفي الحرب ينال المقاتل أحيانًا الظفر وأحيانًا يلقى حتفه—فما العجب في ذلك؟ لذلك، استقبلوا كل جهة وقاتلوا من جديد بحماسة متجدّدة.»
