Chapter 99: Sātyaki and Duḥśāsana’s engagement
अतिष्ठद् युगमध्ये स युगसंनहनेषु च । जघनार्थेषु चाश्वानां तत् सैन्यान्यभ्यपूजयन्,वे एक पैर जूएके ठीक बीचमें और दूसरा पैर उस जूएसे सटे हुए (आचार्यके) घोड़ोंके पिछले आधे भागोंपर रखकर खड़े हो गये। उनके इस कार्यकी सभी सैनिकोंने भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा की
atiṣṭhad yugamadhye sa yugasaṃnahaneṣu ca | jaghanārtheṣu cāśvānāṃ tat sainyāny abhyapūjayan ||
قال سنجيا: ثبت متأهّبًا، فوضع قدمًا في وسط النير تمامًا، والأخرى على موضع تثبيت النير، قائمًا فوق مؤخرة الخيل. ولمّا شهدت الجموع تلك الجرأة في خضمّ القتال، أخذ الجنود يثنون عليه مرارًا، ممجّدين بأسه وحضور ذهنه.
