Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 94: Sātyaki–Sudarśana Yuddha (सात्यकि–सुदर्शन युद्ध)

तदद्भुतमपश्याम द्रोणस्याचार्यकं॑ युधि । यतमानो युवा नैनं प्रत्यविध्यद्‌ यदर्जुन:,उस युद्धस्थलमें द्रोणाचार्यकी अद्भुत अस्त्रशिक्षा हमने देखी कि नवयुवक अर्जुन प्रयत्नशील होनेपर भी उन्हें अपने बाणोंद्वारा चोट न पहुँचा सके

tad adbhutam apaśyāma droṇasyācāryakaṃ yudhi | yatamāno yuvā nainaṃ pratyavidhyad yad arjunaḥ ||

قال سانجيا: لقد شهدنا في ساحة القتال أمراً عجيباً حقاً—براعة درونا بوصفه معلّماً في الحرب. ومع أن أرجونا الفتى بذل غاية جهده، لم يستطع أن يصيبه بسِهامه. يكشف المشهد قوة التدريب المنضبط والإتقان، كما يكشف توتر الحرب الأخلاقي، حيث قد يُكفّ حتى أشدّ المحاربين صلاحاً واقتداراً بمهارة شيخٍ مُهاب.
