Droṇa-parva, Adhyāya 59
tam apāskarīṇaṃ rāmaḥ paulastyam ajitaṃ paraiḥ

Even when wrongdoing appears invincible, it remains morally condemnable and is ultimately vulnerable to dharmic action; true strength is aligned with justice, not mere power or fear.
Nārada summarizes the Rāmāyaṇa episode: Rāma overcomes Rāvaṇa—called ‘Paulastya’—who had been unconquered by others, emphasizing Rāma’s decisive victory over a notorious oppressor.
