तथेतरान् महेष्वासान् दशभिर्दशभि: शरै: । प्रत्यविध्यदसम्भ्रान्तस्तदद्भुतमिवाभवत्,इतना ही नहीं, उसने बिना किसी घबराहटके दस-दस बाणोंद्वारा अन्य महाधनुर्धरोंको भी आहत कर दिया। वह अद्भुत-सी बात थी
tathetarān maheṣvāsān daśabhir daśabhiḥ śaraiḥ | pratyavidhyad asambhrāntas tad adbhutam ivābhavat ||
قال سنجيا: «وكذلك، من غير أدنى اضطراب، طعن سائر الرماة العظام أيضًا—عشرَ سهامٍ لكل واحد. فبدت تلك الضربة كأنها من العجائب.»
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical-psychological ideal of steadiness under pressure: in the chaos of war, mastery is shown not only by force but by asambhrānti—clarity and lack of panic—so that action remains controlled rather than driven by fear.
Sañjaya reports that the warrior being described continues his assault: he strikes the remaining great archers as well, allotting ten arrows to each, and does so calmly. Observers regard the performance as extraordinary, almost miraculous.
