तावकानां परेषां च त्यक्त्वा प्राणानभूद्‌ रण: । महाराज! इस प्रकार आपके तथा शत्रुपक्षके सम्पूर्ण धनुर्धरोंके विनाशके लिये उनमें परस्पर प्राणोंकी परवा न करके अत्यन्त भयंकर युद्ध होने लगा

tāvakānāṃ pareṣāṃ ca tyaktvā prāṇān abhūd raṇaḥ | mahārāja! isa prakāra āpake tathā śatrupakṣake sampūrṇa dhanurdharoke vināśa ke liye unameṃ paraspara prāṇoṃ kī parvā na karake atyanta bhayaṅkara yuddha hone lagā |

قال سانجيا: وقد طرحوا جانبًا كلَّ اكتراثٍ بالحياة—جنودُك وجنودُ الخصم سواء—فاشتعلت المعركة. أيها الملك! وهكذا، من غير مبالاةٍ بأرواحهم، وقاصدين إفناءَ جميع الرماة في كلا الصفّين، ابتدأ قتالٌ بالغُ الهول.
