Educational Q&A

Even amid violent conflict, the epic highlights disciplined mastery and steadiness: force is met not by panic but by trained focus and measured response, reflecting the warrior’s duty (kṣatriya-dharma) to stand firm and protect one’s cause.

Sañjaya describes a moment in the Arjuna–Karṇa battle where Karṇa releases fierce, blazing volleys; Arjuna counters with a dense ‘net’ of arrows that cuts and disperses Karṇa’s missiles mid-flight.
