विद्रावयिष्यामि रणे शचीपतिरिवासुरान्‌ । “इस प्रकार पिताने भगवान्‌ नारायणसे यह अस्त्र प्राप्त किया और उनसे मुझे इसकी प्राप्ति हुई है। उसी अस्त्रसे मैं रणभूमिमें पाण्डव, पांचाल, मत्स्य और केकय योद्धाओंको उसी प्रकार खदेडूँगा, जैसे शचीपति इन्द्रने असुरोंको मार भगाया था

sañjaya uvāca | vidrāvayiṣyāmi raṇe śacīpatir ivāsurān |

قال سنجيا: «في القتال سأجعلهم يفرّون—كما طرد شَچِيپَتي (إندرا، ربّ شَچِي) الأسورا.» إنّها صيحة عزمٍ متباهٍ من محاربٍ يتوعّد بتشتيت صفوف العدو، مستحضِرًا نصر إندرا المثالَ الأعلى لقوةٍ حربية لا تُقاوَم.
