तथा चरन्तं संग्रामे भृशं समरदुर्जयम् । इस प्रकार संग्राममें विचरते हुए रणदुर्जय द्रोणाचार्यपर राजा विराट और ट्रपदने एक साथ चढ़ाई की
tathā carantaṃ saṃgrāme bhṛśaṃ samaradurjayam |
قال سانجيا: لما كان دروناآتشاريّا يجول في غمار القتال—شرسًا بالغَ العُسر في المُبارزة—تقدّم الملك فيرَاطا ودروبادا معًا نحوه، يلتمسان كبح اندفاعه المُدمِّر.
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya describes Droṇa ranging powerfully through the battle, nearly unconquerable. In response, King Virāṭa and King Drupada jointly advance to confront him, indicating a coordinated attempt to stop Droṇa’s momentum.
