मूढास्त्वेतानि भाषन्ते यानीमान्यात्थ भारत
mūḍhās tv etāni bhāṣante yānīmāny āttha bhārata
قال سنجيا: «يا بهاراتا، إنما يتكلم بهذا الكلام أهل الضلال وحدهم—يكررون عين ما نطقتَ به آنفًا.»
संजय उवाच
The verse contrasts wise discernment with delusion: careless or confused minds merely echo and amplify misguided statements. It cautions that speech should be grounded in clarity and responsibility, especially amid moral crisis.
In Sañjaya’s report to the Kuru elder (addressed as Bhārata), he rebukes a line of talk as foolish—indicating that certain remarks being circulated are simply the deluded repeating what the listener has just said.
