इस प्रकार श्रीमह्माभारत द्रोणपर्वके अन्तर्गत घटोत्कचवधपर्वमें रात्रि-युद्धके समय श्रीकृष्णणा कथनविषयक एक सौ इक्यासीवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraṁ śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvake antargata ghaṭotkacavadhaparvaṇi rātri-yuddha-samaye śrīkṛṣṇāyāḥ kathana-viṣayaka eka-śata-ekaśītitamaḥ adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ abhavat
وهكذا انتهى الفصل الحادي والثمانون بعد المئة من «دروṇa پرفا» من «المهابهارتا» المباركة، ضمن قسم مقتل غهاṭوتكچا، في زمن قتال الليل، والمتمحور حول الكلمات التي نطقت بها السيدة شري كṛṣṇā. وتُشير خاتمة الفصل إلى انتقالٍ في مجرى السرد: فقد دخلت الحرب طورًا ليليًّا مثقلًا بالإشكال الأخلاقي، وجُعل خطاب كṛṣṇā توجيهًا ذا شأن وسط الفوضى وضغط الضمير في قتال الظلام.
