सीमन्तमिव कुर्वाणा नभस: पावकप्रभा । अदृश्यतापतन्ती सा शक्रमुक्ता यथाशनि:,अग्निके समान प्रज्वलित वह गदा इन्द्रके चलाये हुए वज्गजकी भाँति आकाशमें सीमान्त- रेखा-सी बनाती हुई वहाँ गिरती दिखायी दी
sīmantaṁ iva kurvāṇā nabhasaḥ pāvakaprabhā | adṛśyatā patantī sā śakramuktā yathāśaniḥ ||
كانت متوهِّجةً ببريق النار، تُرى تهوي عبر السماء كأنها ترسم خطًّا فاصلًا في قبة العُلا—كصاعقةٍ أطلقها إندرا.
