Shloka 22

स चाप्यशक्य: संग्रामे जेतुं सर्वसुरासुरै: । वधार्थ तस्य जातो5हमन्येषां च सुरद्विषाम्‌

sa cāpy aśakyaḥ saṅgrāme jetuṃ sarva-surāsuraiḥ | vadhārthaṃ tasya jāto 'ham anyeṣāṃ ca suradviṣām ||

قال فايُو: «وهو أيضًا لا يُقهَر في القتال، ولو اجتمع جميعُ الآلهة والأسورا معًا. ولأجل هلاكه—وهلاكِ سائر أعداء الآلهة—وُلدتُ أنا.»

The verse frames violent conflict within a dharmic-cosmic rationale: when destructive forces become unconquerable by ordinary means, a divinely purposed birth may occur to restore balance by removing enemies of the gods (i.e., forces opposed to righteous order).

Vāyu declares that a particular adversary is so formidable that even the combined might of devas and asuras cannot defeat him in battle; therefore Vāyu states he has taken birth specifically to bring about that foe’s death, along with the death of other god-hating enemies.
