Mahabharata 7.182.9Drona Parva, Adhyaya 182, Shloka 9

यद्येतन्न रहस्यं ते वक्तुमर्हस्यरिंदम । धैर्यस्य वैकृतं ब्रूहि त्वमद्य मधुसूदन

sañjaya uvāca | yady etan na rahasyaṃ te vaktum arhasi rinda­ma | dhairyasy vaikṛtaṃ brūhi tvam adya madhusūdana ||

قال سانجيا: «يا قاهرَ الأعداء، إن لم يكن هذا أمرًا يجب كتمانه ورأيتَ أن من اللائق أن يُقال، فأخبرني. يا مدهوسودانا، إن هذا الإظهار الغريب للابتهاج قد زعزع اليوم سكينتنا؛ فبيّن سببه.»
