Transliteration

tān nivārya śarais tūrṇaṃ dhṛṣṭadyumno mahārathaḥ

Translation

قال سانجيا: فبادر دْهْرِشْتَديومْنَةُ—المحارب العظيم على العربة—إلى صدّها بوابلٍ من السهام، فكبح الاندفاع وأبقاه بعيداً. وفي المناخ الأخلاقي للمعركة يبرز هذا السطر ضبطَ النفس المنظّم والمسؤوليةَ التكتيكية: تُواجَه القوةُ بقوةٍ محسوبة لحماية الصفّ وإقامة واجب القائد.
